Eurofins Genomics is a global leader in laboratory research, performing more than 450 million tests each year. This new two-story facility in Louisville, KY, was designed to support Eurofins' advanced laboratory operations and office functions. The first floor primarily houses four laboratories with the second floor dedicated to office space and employee amenities. Due to the complexity of the lab operations, the Kelley team used BIM to coordinate the detailed MEP systems. To meet fire protection requirements, three fire suppression systems were installed: a wet system, a pre-action system, and a foam system. Additionally, large Strobic exhaust fans were integrated to safely ventilate the lab spaces and dilute the discharged air. The facility is supported by eight air handling units (AHUs), five dedicated to the labs and reagent room, and three serving general building areas.
